From One Family Prayer
to a Mission Around the World
A Rosary recorded at home became a prayer mission in more than ten languages, reaching more than one hundred countries — with no promotion at all.
The Beginning
Inspired by that vision, John and his wife Simmy recorded a Holy Rosary in their native Malayalam and shared it through their YouTube channel, which marked the beginning of the Santo Prayer Mission.
Initially they shared the Rosary so that elderly parents and relatives, stranded and isolated by the pandemic, could pray it with them virtually. Later they began to realise the Holy Mother was leading them toward a bigger-than-life mission, and they kept producing more prayer videos.
Over three years, between 2020 and 2023, that humble family prayer mission expanded across three YouTube channels.
All of it accomplished without any formal promotion of the content on social media — which they hold to be the work of the Holy Mother and her beloved Son Jesus, reassuring them of the purpose of their divine call.
The Evolution
Inspired by the worldwide acceptance of their Catholic family prayer mission, the mission now partners with Catholic clergy and media partners worldwide — creating, licensing and distributing Catholic prayers and inspirational content in over 12 languages through the dedicated Catholic Prayer and Meditation App, Santo.
A simple family prayer channel has become a world-class Catholic prayer and meditation app, under the guidance of the Holy Mother and the special patronage of St. Joseph.
